Today’s Gospel Reading Luke 6:36-38

These words have always sounded so beautiful to me: “Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measure out to you.”

So what does it mean? That as we judge, we shall be judged? That as we give to others, God will give to us? That God the Giver gives in greater measure than we could ever give? That He fills our lives with such goodness that it cannot be measured? That we should live our lives in constant thanksgiving? That we are meant to give away all that God gives to us and He will fill us more and more with His Love? So much to think about!
