Almighty and Everlasting Father,

In my grief and anger, I walked away from our relationship,

Even though through it all You were supporting me.

I miss our friendship.

I miss the time we spent together.

I don’t know how to renew that friendship.

I feel lost and empty in this world You have given me.

I know that Christine belonged to You.

You lent her to me for just a short time.

I believe that she is with You now in a joy that I can only imagine.

Father, draw my heart back to You.

Show me the path that I must take.

Teach me how to honor Your Name.

Forgive me for my anger.

Let me be embraced by Your friendship once more.

I pray all this through your Son, Jesus, the Lord.
